In the last 24 hours, 47,637 new cases of coronary were confirmed in France, which is an increase compared to the day before there were 36,437.
However, this is far less than the record set on Saturday when more than 52,000 new cases were recorded. In the last 24 hours, 235 patients have died, Reuters reports.
The total number of infected increased to 1.28 million, and 36,020 people died.
The number of hospital patients fell one day to 976, after about 1,200 patients were admitted to hospitals for three days.
