The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) announces the public opinion that there is nothing disturbing in KEK and nothing extraordinary is happening. In fact, KEK has had a technical problem in only one entity, which is expected to be resolved very soon.
In this direction we announce that this morning, around 05 a.m. today, as a consequence of increased water spending in the B-2 unit, this unit is out of operation. On the other hand, KEK teams of experts have immediately mobilised and are doing their best to soldiers the flow of water and return this unit to work during tomorrow, as a result by tomorrow and Trmokos will have a lack of thermal power.
Moreover, in the continuation of co-operation with the Albanian Energy Corporation for the exchange of electricity, KEK has immediately secured half of the energy (100 megawat), which is supposed to be produced by this unit. While the rest of the consumption should be secured by the company responsible for providing citizens with this product.
