The Pristina municipality in co-operation with Sport Marketing has reached agreement on the Avenue Park, which will be built in Germia.
This project is friendly with the environment, ensuring that installations are consistent with high security standards but also installing not to harm trees in this park.
An adventure park will be funded together by the Pristina municipality and the Swiss Agency for Development and Co-operation and will be managed by the public company “Sports Marketing”.
Pristina municipality Chairman Shpend Ahmeti seized the opportunity to talk about this project, where he expressed much satisfaction with this co-operation.
We have some 800 hectares behind us in the Germia space, but since we have declared it a protected landscape, Germia has 2,000 hectares, which means that constructions are banned, all activities that would somehow harm this protected landscape are prohibited. Of course, we've been discussing with a lot of non-governmental organizations where we've even signed an IF contract for help in managing such parks, about the landscape, so long term. The idea of this project is not to touch any wood, the idea is to teach children about these activities how good nature is. The value of this project is around 100,000 euros, will be around 67 different elements, which will be used by children”, he said.
Argentina Grrahdhan, simultaneously part of the Organisation “Sweiss Contact” and part of the project about the Avenue Park, unveiled the project, where it showed more about it.
This project has been locked in the development of tourism in Kosovo for the past 7 years. To date, we have contributed to the financing of 7 major projects and about 30 smaller tourist products in the country. This product will be an extremely important destination for all Kosovo visitors, whether they are international or regional or local, and I believe that not only for the Pristina municipality, but also Kosovo adds to a park that will be very interesting not only for children but also for raising”, he said.
This will be a good opportunity for children, but it will also be for Kosovo's adults to visit the Garmia Park, where tourism within Pristina and all over Kosovo will be a good opportunity after that.
