On Tuesday, Health Minister Hugo de Jong said that this change of decision would prevent children from “The unbearable and hopeless effort”.
Eutanasia is currently legal in the Netherlands for children older than 12 years, with the pansy and their parents' binding ward, the BBC reports, term Periscopi.
It was also legal for babies up to a year with parental approval.
But there is no provision for children between 1 and 12 years of incurable illness.
This decision has been shown extremely controversial and has sparked a range of major political debates in the government coalition consisting of four parties. There have also been strong opposition from conservative parties. /Periscope
