The ban on association in London, curfew in France, closing schools in Poland, a series of restrictive measures took effect in Europe today in hopes of curbing the second wave of COVID-19.
In London, it is forbidden from today to associate with people outside the family. More than 15,000 cases have been recorded in Great Britain on Friday, one of the most affected countries in Europe from COVID-19 with 43 400 deaths.
In France, residents of dozens of large cities, including Paris and its regions, have experienced the last evening in freedom before the deployment of a curfew today about 9:00 to 0600.
This measure, which will remain in force for at least four weeks, was taken as the circulation of the virus increased in the country by 250,000 positive cases with COVID-19 registered in 24 hours.
New restrictions also went into effect in Warsaw and other large cities in Poland, considered red zones.

Worldwide, all indicators are in red, with more than 1.1 million deaths registered, according to official data.
And on a single day, the number of new contaminants with COVID-19 in the world reached 400,000 new cases.
Some 38,99 million cases have been officially recorded, of which 26.6 million have been cured.

In Belgium, the curfew was decided at midnight at 5: 00 a.m., and all local cafes and restaurants will be closed Monday for at least a month.
“Week after week the figures double, they fly (...) is an exponential increase”, Prime Minister Alexander De Cruo stressed, while Belgium is one of the European countries most affected by the pandemic (more than 10 300 dead).
