EU also withdraws from monitoring of chief prosecutor selection

The US Embassy in Kosovo yesterday has withdrawn from monitoring the competition for the selection of chief prosecutors and new members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.

After that, media spokeswoman to Kosovo's EU Office today Dinka Zivalj has said the EU has also decided not to monitor this competition until the entire process is revised.

“we've noticed the concerns expressed by the US. Even the EU has its own concerns and has also decided not to monitor until the entire process is revised and carried out in line with relevant rules and regulations”, she told “Zrin”.
