After more than two decades of anxiety and expectation, the family of the missing war is seeing a hint of hope that the dialogue under way in Brussels with the state that caused this pain will have an end.

Ferdnonje Cerkezi, as much as she feels homesickness for all those who lost her in battle also felt frustration for the leaders of her post-war state, so her hope that there will be some good news about the Halim dialogue and the boys Anthony, Armen, Ardian and Edmond is almost invisible.

“Hopes are still small, but hope dies last”, she said of the clankosova.tv.

The European Union as mediator and legally binding institution has also pledged the end of family expectations as mother Ferdonija.

EU spokesman Peter Stano told Kllankosova.tv that progress has been made on this sensitive issue until he pledged that the Kosovo-Serbia agreement would necessarily include points for the missing.

The EU-launched “Dialog aims at reaching a final, comprehensive, legally binding agreement, resolving all remaining questions. The issues of missing persons, as well as displaced persons, have been addressed in the EU-launched dialogue since its resumption in July 2020. Progress has been made to find common language on both these sensitive topics, and the final comprehensive agreement will include provisions on these issues. The European Union encourages both sides to co-operate further to effectively facilitate the ongoing process of identifying countries, exhumation, as well as identifying the remains”, Stano told the portal.

That this issue will certainly be discussed and resolved at the negotiating table between Pristina and Belgrade, Justice Minister Selim Selimi secured a few days ago.

During the time he was reporting to the Parliamentary Commission for the Unemployed, he said firmly that Government Hoti would not sign the agreement with Serbia without this decades-opening issue being resolved.

However, he announced that besides the government delegation, members of the missing families associations of Kosovo mothers will also attend the talks.

But, so far neither Ferdonija Qerkezi nor Nysrete Kumnova, head of the association “mothers' calls”, have been called by an institution for this working group.

But although not allowed so far in this process, for her son, Albion, Nysrete Kumova, is being persistent and a little more optimistic about what the talks in Brussels will produce.

We always have to hold out hope that they make a decision and do not disappoint us. We've had some expectations coming up even when we're watching news when it's said to be mass graves. Hope is giving us even now when they have begun to show the reality that there are mass graves in Serbia”, she told Klan Kosova.

Mother Nysretja made her permanent complaint that Kosovo s '%i never put enough pressure on Serbia.

But, until Kosovo pressured him, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, a few days ago faced pressure from the Serbs and civil associations themselves so that he could honour the Albanian victims of the terrible crimes of his former chief, Slobodan Milosevic.

Vuciq was forced to stand for all victims, but was not declared the honour for 744 Albanian troops of Batajnica's mass grave.

In this cemetery, Nysrete Kumnova had said that five of Albion's friends who were taken away from Serbian forces that day were found in Batajnica, but not Albion.
