Diplomatic relations between Kosovo, Israel expected to be established next month

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Melza Haradinaj Stubla has called the EU's vision and leadership a lack of visa liberalisation for Kosovo. Kosovo diplomatic chief during today's report to the Commission for European Integration, without the presence of members of the Vetevendosje Movement, said the country has completed and exceeded [...]
It before the people's elected also spoke of Israel's recognition and 1-year-old moratorium for failing to apply to international organisations. Until he reasoned with the latter, Haradinaj- Stubula warned a visit next month to Israel, where he said diplomatic relations between the two countries are expected to be established.
This, as you know, has not been welcomed, is not serious and lack of vision and lack of strategic leadership in terms of the EU, because the contractual parties have the EU and they will have to respond to us and the citizens on the basis of the obligations we've made and the criteria to answer why now we are required to work in a bilate way with each state apart. To be honest, the counterpart does not express genuine concern about where scepticism lies. But he said that here we meet for the first time, can you tell me where Kosovo is. How are you in relation to meeting the criteria, but we wanted to hear more. We agreed, I proposed the same level of co-operation, as we did with Germany to form a joint working group at the level of these ministries as I mentioned earlier. I'm also waiting for the Dutch side's answer to how we're going to proceed with this topic and create all the concerns the Dutch side may have. As for France, the prime minister has after a visit proposed the same form of co-operation as we have done with Germany, and we are working to do with Holland”, said no.
But before the minister was addressed, commission members from the ranks of the Vetevendosje Movement, Arberes Kryeziu and Gazmend Grandnca abandoned the hall where Haradinaj- Stubula was reporting.
MP Kryeziu said it is unnecessary to report the minister to the commission and that they have not made any decisions on the commission that such a thing should happen.
“We did not know why a foreign affairs minister would have to come to report on the visa liberalisation issue. We don't know that we as commission have agreed, nor is this said in the last meeting's process that we invite Mrs. Melisa to come and explain to us or talk more about the visa liberalisation issue. Seeing this completely unnecessary we as the Vetevendosje Movement will not participate in this report, which we do not know what it is and will return to continue with the other agenda points”, she said.
But despite that, the reporting continued, until PDK member on this commission, MP Blerta Deliu-Codra asked the minister for a 1-year-old baptism for failing to apply to international organisations and bilateral recognition with Israel.
The first “is accurate that today I have expected a report that ministers have always brought a report on these visits and meetings mentioned in the Netherlands and France. I'd like to know what the MPJD is doing in this direction, is there any clear strategy for preparation for application. You know we have Interpol's case and other important mechanisms that we have to prepare, how much this has damaged Kosovo in terms of membership. At the meeting in Washington, there has been agreement on recognition by Israel or have you received confirmation as the foreign minister regarding recognition. When the embassy in Israel is expected to open”, Deliu-Codra said.
Responding to the MP, the minister said that under current political and pandemic circumstances Kosovo would not have real opportunity to participate in any multilateral organisation successfully.
“Membership believe that it cannot be done in virtual form as is the foreign policy in general, and all other multilateral institutions where we aim to membership. This should not prevent Kosovo from making all the necessary preparations for how to proceed in this regard... very soon I will have a visit to Israel as Israeli counterpart has invited me and we are working every day on finalising these details in terms of signing diplomatic relations with Israel. That doesn't happen to me that I'm hearing some people in public that knowledge doesn't happen with just verbal note. We are waiting to formalise a joint document or draft establishing formal diplomatic relations between Kosovo and Israel”, she said.
The chief of diplomacy also spoke of Kosovo- Serbia, where it said greater commitment is needed for mutual recognition between the two countries to be focused, not normalising relations.
