David-19, scientists: The vaccine will not restore life to normality in the spring

Meanwhile, the world is waiting for the vaccine to be “the holy secret” that will end the pandemic.

A report drafted by British medical society Royal Society says we have to be <x0-realyst” for what vaccine can achieve and when it can achieve.

More than 200 types of virus - defense vaccines are being developed by scientists worldwide in a process that is being carried out at unprecedented speeds.

“Vaxina offers great hopes for the possible end of the pandemic, but we know that the history of developing vaccines is filled with failures”, said Dr Fiona Culley, of the University of Imperial College London's medical department.

There is a lot of optimism that the mass inoculation process will begin early next year, but the Royal Society report warns the process will be a long one.

Even when vaccines are ready this doesn't mean that in a month all people will be vaccinated, it will take six months, nine months... a year,” said Prof Nile Shah, head of chemical engineering at Imperial College London.

It's not about a sudden return to normality in March. ”

Doubts remain for raw materials and refrigerator capacity, as some vaccines require storage at temperatures of minus 80C.

Prof. The Shah estimates that human vaccine will be conducted at 10 times faster than the annual flu season and would be a full-time job for 30,000 trained medical staff.

Early data shows that vaccines are really activating immune responses, but studies have not yet shown whether this is enough to protect or prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Prof Charles Bangham, head of immunology at Imperial College, said: “We just don't know when effective vaccines will be ready, how effective and how fast it can be distributed”.

“Even if it's effective we're unlikely to return immediately to normality. It's going to be like a drop in stairs, we're gradually going to reduce further intervention”.

Commenting on the Dr. Andrew Study Pressing from University of Bath, he said: “It is clear that the vaccine is being portrayed as silver gasplumb, which will be our salvation, but this process is not immediate.

There are still many questions, such as people or family members who refuse to take the vaccine. Will they be left in the hands of fate or will the forced evaluation of children in schools be carried out?
