Director for Education in Pec Besim Avdimitaj has told Gazeta Express that some 150 tests have been conducted in the city's schools so far.
There were no positive cases of students until teachers said nine cases were confirmed.
The “in the first round has tested 143 teachers, and six of them have proved positive, but they have now returned to work because they have recovered. In the second round, however, two cleaners, one secretary and three teachers have proved positive. Teachers are being replaced by their colleagues. Unlike Peja, where no students have been infected, three have been infected in the Podujevo municipality.
Agim Blackchior, director of health, says that in schools in this municipality, a school principal, a teacher and three students have proved positive.
“in the Podujevo municipality has tested 61 teachers, of which one has resulted positive. This case has yet to begin teaching. No school is closed because of cases with COVID-19. The teacher who has proved positive is being replaced by his colleague. A school principal has also proved positive with Ovidius, but now he's healed. Students who have proved positive are cases of contact in their families and have not been attending school for two weeks”, Blackchior declared for Express.
The positive cases of students have also been confirmed in Drenas ' schools.
Director for Education there, Muhamet Gjona, has said there are currently five students infected.

COVIED-19 has also infiltrated Suhareka schools. There so far, 40 teachers have been tested, out of whom positive four have emerged. Meanwhile, no case has been confirmed with students.

Tests have also been conducted in the schools of Malisheva. In the schools of this municipality, there is actually only one infected teacher.
“They've tested 28, of which one has dated COVID-19, but has recovered. Five teachers have been tested, but only one has proved positive, and this is the only active case. A total of 33 tests have been conducted. School closing cases have not been held in Malisevo”, said Blerim Thaci, who heads the Directorate for Education.
Meanwhile, in Dragash, a municipality in which no new case has been recorded for two weeks, since the beginning of the school year only one teacher has been infected, until there are cases among students.
But, which according to Education Director Vlora Centaj, he too has recovered.
There's been more than 14 days since Dragash's ever infected. We've tested them somewhere around 16 teachers before the school year began and only one has a positive turn, but he has already recovered and returned to school. In the meantime, we don't have a reported case of”, Cenaj declared.
Otherwise, the situation with COVIED-19 in schools has been discussed today by Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Rame Likaj.
According to him, the situation is under control, even though there have been positive cases of coronarys, both among teachers and students, in some schools.
He said that in schools where positive cases have continued teaching online, until he stressed that they do not expect increased cases with COVID within schools.
There are several cases where teachers and students from the IKSHPK are diagnosed, of course we have prepared scenarios and depending on the situation that has been with the pandemic are also recommended scenarios, some of the schools have gone to online learning for 14 days. Their situation is being observed by the medical staff of the respective municipalities, at the same time I KSHPK is constantly monitoring and everything is currently under control”, Likaj said.
