Thirty days of detention has been required for persons arrested during yesterday's action that was the continuation of the casino closure action in Karacheva in Kamenica.

“The Founding Procuror in Gjilan, reports that by the prosecutor of the case, Roselida Monastery has been called for the appointment of the detention measure, in the 30-day term, by the competent Court in Gjilan, to twenty-four suspected persons who were detained during the action held on October 01, 2020, which has been the continuation of Karacheva's action. According to the request, defendants R.S., L.M., F.A., A.A., N.M., H.R., P.S., A.D., F.B., R.C., I.T., R.A., A. Th and F.K., since November 2019, in the border zone between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia, respectively on Karacheva village territory of Kamenica, in succession, and on purpose and with the aim of illegal property benefits, have taken action to smuggle cattle, which have carried them through illegal routes outside the border line, avoiding customs control”, the media community reported.
It is alleged that they have carried out criminal work with goods smuggling of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code (KPRK).
While defendants J.H., N.S., U.K., K.M., U.A., B.R., A.H., H.M. and J.B., since December 2019, as individuals responsible for meat processing businesses, deliberately and with the aim of profiting, have bought items that they have known are smuggled and deliberately selling and placed in circulation meat products, without having to do the necessary checks under standards.
By these actions, they are allegedly committed criminal acts -- BARBlerja, acceptance or hiding items taken in the conduct of the criminal act -- and the production and circulation of harmful food items -- of KPRK.
While, defendant I.K., from September 18th, 2019, until September 18, 2020, at the Automatate Club, in the village of Karacheva municipality of Kamenica, with the aim of illegal property gains, illegally and consistently organized lucky games, which are prohibited by law.
In this way, he committed the criminal act of organising pyramid schemes and illegal gambling, of KPRK.
