China reported 12 new cases of COVID-19 on September, from 19 days ago, the country's health authority announced on Thursday, Reuters reports, broadcast news.net.
The National Health Commission said in a statement that all new cases were imported infections involving travelers from abroad.
The number of new asimtomatic cases, which China does not classify as confirmed cases COVID-19, dropped to 10 out of 22 reported the day before.
The overall number of confirmed COVID-19 infections for mainland China now stands at 85,414, while the death toll remained unchanged in 4,634.
