The National Health Commission said Monday that “the entire city will be tested within five days”.
About 114,862 people including late medical staff and patients in city hospitals have already turned negative, Kingdao Health Commission said.
In May, China has tested the entire town of Vuhan with 11 million people who have been the focus of the global coronary pandemic.
China, largely, has put the virus under control, unlike other parts of the world that still have high figures.
According to Johns Hopkins University data, Coronavirus has affected 37.5 million people worldwide.
Of them, over 1 million have died and over 26 million have recovered.
