Cakaya: Visa liberalisation for Kosovo is an EU-explosive process

Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj participated in the International Conference “youth, migration and demographic challenges in the Western Balkans”, at the invitation of Germany's Foreign Minister Heiko Mass.
Cakaj stressed that the country will continue without sparing any effort to become an EU member.
Visa liberalisation for Kosovo, which Cakaj stressed, was also discussed, and that according to him, the European Union should enable the free movement of citizens of Europe's newest Republic as soon as possible.

At the invitation of Germany's Foreign Minister, Heiko Mass, incumbent Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj, attended the International Conference “Young People, Migration and Demographic Challenges in the Western Balkans”. During the discussion with the foreign ministers of the Western Balkans, as Chief diplomat Cakaj suggests in a Facebook response, Albania's strong commitment to advancing all reforms needed for membership in the European Union was stressed as the key to ensuring a brighter perspective of Albanian youth society in particular, namely, the development of a life in line with European Union standards in Albania.

Another issue discussed during the conference was visa liberalisation for Kosovo, for which Cakaj voicedly stressed that it is a follow-up process and that, according to him, the European Union should enable free movement of the newest Republic of Europe citizens as soon as possible.
