“A brother who doubts that his sister's body was hidden around the Iber River

It has been almost two years since nothing has been known about the fate of Mirjeta Zeka Shaban of Mitrovica, who was married in the village of Sfarackak in Vushtrri.

Her brothers cast doubts that their sister was killed and her body disappeared. Main suspects have her husband, N.S.S.

On March 31, 2019, she had left with her husband to go to Germany, where they were living.

Her brother, Rexhep Zeka, told Express that after more than two months, her sister's husband told them about her disappearance.

The “Motra has disappeared on March 31st, on April 1st, there is a post office in Germany. He called us somewhere in two and a half months. We've called the police, they've investigated them for a while. That's all he's been talking about, the police have come to the conclusion that he killed him and hid his corpse”, declared Zeka.

Zeka says that the prosecutor of the case, Nyazi Rexha, has not worked enough at dawning his sister's case.

The moment the case was passed to the prosecutor, prosecutor Njazi Rexha returned the documents and released it without a day's arrest. He hasn't allowed us for six to seven months, or public, to do it, but he said no, he's gonna screw up our investigation. We decided on our own once, we published it. Zeka has shown that the case has also been opened in Germany.

The sister's husband is in Germany free. The brother in France has opened up the case in Germany, and we have been asked to do the house examination, but the prosecutor is not allowing us. The DA supported us against the wall, we know what he did to me. We're telling him to bring him to Kosovo, and arrest him with the market where he is”, Zeka has declared.

Zeka has said they have accepted information that the sister's body may be near the “Iber”, so along with KSF) they have started research, but without success.

We've been given information that it's near Ibrit, the KSF has emerged, but they haven't found anything. We have it in another location, the police know, we're waiting on them and KSF asking for”, he said.

Meanwhile, he says that they have never been able to know correctly about the sister's reports with her husband.

Zeka claims that her husband had never allowed Mirjet to remain alone in the brothers.

The reports we haven't been able to recognize, because with our sister alone we've had a chance to stay because she never allowed it, every time they came together, she never left. We look at my sister, the older brother once asks her what the problem is, but she said don't touch me, don't ruin my life”, Zeka said.

He says that his husband had beaten Mirjeta because they had often seen the marks in her body.

We knew he wasn't okay, but he jumped, I'm sure. I'm sure he's beating it up, I've got a shot at it, I've asked him what he's got, but guess what, he said he fell down on a scale of”, declared Zeka.

Prosecutor Ayazi Rexha has told Express that the case is being investigated.

This case is under investigation, investigations continue... Yeah, we're looking from the moment the case has been opened”, Rex has declared.

Asked about the location where Mirjeta's body is being sought, Rexha said there is no information and this cannot be done until he was informed.

I don't know what the family said, but the location cannot be located without me having information. It's part of the investigation, the procedure goes on, I can't say anything more”, Rexha said.
