“In technical terms the park entry is prepared, while for the processing of payments it has not yet begun, the moment the decision is made by the ministry/ The AMMK will then inform”, the Economy Ministry has declared.
From this, the minister has also been declared for the reason for the introduction of payment in these parks.
MEA spokesman Bajram Kadriu has told Gazeta Express that the main purpose of setting up washing is to protect these natural resources from illegal acts, such as cutting forests, building and hunting illegally and other degradation.
“With environmental and natural protection legislation, as well as national park management, compensation for any kind of resource use and area of national parks from businesses and visitors, as well as for entry into the territory of national parks.
So the main purpose of lourishing is to protect these natural resources from illegal actions that take place on the territory of the National Parks as they might be: logging, illegal construction, illegal hunting, as well as other degrading”, Kadriu has declared.
Apart from protection from degradation, the other reason these washing are being established is to ensure revenues that will be used to improve infrastructure in parks.
The other key is the establishment of the accessal payment system at these tourist centres from the state institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to ensure inflows that these tools will be used to improve infrastructure (the parking loting disorder, installing information boards, waste management, marking the border of National Parks etc.) ”, Kadriu said.
But how much will citizens have to pay to visit these parks?
Based on the price board that the newspaper Express has provided from MEA, the prices for entry and visits during one day in these parks start from 50 cents to 3 euros.
For children between 10 and 18 years of age, entry costs 50 cents a day, while for adults it is 1 euro.
One euro costs entrances to vehicles and motorcycles, while paying 2 euros to get in the van to get into these parks.
The highest cost is bus and truck access. Whoever stormed these parks with these vehicles would have to pay 3 euros in one day.
