Northern Macedonia has registered 870 people infected with the new coronary on Wednesday, representing the highest figure of infected within a day since the first case appearance in February.
The Health Ministry's report also reveals 14 victims, bringing the total number of deaths to 963.
According to published data, in the last 24 hours, 13 people have been laid down in the Infectious Clinic, with what total numbers of hospitalized in this clinic have reached 150 patients, 113 are in oxygen-or therapy, while there are no individuals at the insulation. Some 500 people are being treated in other ruling hospitals.
The total number of persons diagnosed with COVID-1919 has reached 28,697, out of them 19,771 have recovered, while 7963 are active.
The Northern Macedonia Assembly on Wednesday has continued the debate on the adoption of the population protection law from infectious diseases. The proposal has passed the first phase, as well as debate on the Parliament's commissions, while in the course is the second reading of what law went into effect.
“The changes concern some of the decrees adopted during the state of emergency and the institutions where patients are treated. The rest has to do with expanding the competencies of inspectors such as the state-owned Sanitarian, labour and transport, the market inspectorate. It also included central and local inspectorates as concrete mechanisms for implementing preventive measures and sanctioning their”, Health Minister Venko Filipce has declared.
With this law, wearing a mask will also be binding in open environments while more than four people are banned after 10:00. At 11: 00 p.m., all gastronomy objects are closed.
