Basri Sejdiu: The board is obliged to return me to the principal's position

Basri Sejdiu, former director of the University Hospital Service of Kosovo (SHSKUK), who was dismissed from the Board on the pit of pandemic, has said the Labour Inspectorate has ordered the Board to return him to his job.

“Inspectorate with two decisions, first and second degree, forces the board to get me back to work after it finds a violation of the three laws the Board has made. This second-degree decision forces the Board to implement my decision and return to work. It is an eight-day deadline that needs to do this and if it doesn't apply, then there are other measures”, Sejdiu said on RTK's “Image” show.

He has said the Board has illegally downloaded it, adding that the points mentioned in the download reasoning do not stand.

These projects that have been implemented are not even in the region. Even the inner audience has made my performance positive”, he has said further.

He has expressed confidence that he will return to the helm of SHKUK. I am willing to continue in the interest of the institution and the patients, because we have turned our hope to patients, as they now receive proper treatment, not wander through private hospitals”.

“Bord is responsible for my dismissal, but also responsible for failing to implement the Inspectorate's decision. I can't understand why the board's chairman doesn't comply with the” decision.

Speaking as director, Sejdiu said the board has not been a supporter of his work.

“has not been a supporter, but it has prevented me. It was done with audit reports when I needed it most. And such a Bord could also be harmful. The downloading took place in time of pandemic and when we faced a very good fight at”, Sejdiu said.
