Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami before the Kosovo Assembly deputies has argued the 100-day work of her dictatorship.
She said that during those months, they've done good work on the budget they've had.
The emergency fiscal package has been improvised as soon as we've gone to the Ministry of Finance, we've made access to capital investments for new projects since it was pre-invented. We have helped municipalities from the economic programme with 10m euros and have made it available to another 29m euros, which were divided under the accounting fund for wage law. Since the law fell, then these 29m euros have municipalities to address their needs. On September 27th, we have allocated 87m euros, of which 60 million have been earmarked for businesses and are working to distribute these tools. We've been reviewing the medium-term cost framework 2021-2023 and finishing hearings now for budget drafting 2021”, she said.
Minister Bajrami during the plenary session, where the prime minister is reporting for the first 100 days of his government, said that 143m euros have been spent from the beginning of the pandemic to face its consequences.
“As far as the expenses of pandemic are concerned, if we refer to all expenditures that have been made under the framework to cope with the consequences of the total pandemic have been spent 143m euros. Of them 110 were realised in the category of subsidies. 22.3m euros in the wage category and additions and 10.4 euros in the category goods and services”, she said.
