Pristina's first one had also pressed charges against the Food and Veterinary Agency, saying they have received the 1.3m-euro budget to resolve the issue.
This claim has been reacted to by AUV officials on the “Office of the Ankes” on RTV Dukajini.
Sadik Heta from the Food and Veterinary Agency has said it is not the time of the charges, but according to him an AUV co-operation with Kosovo municipalities is needed.
The legal base of the municipalities is forcing them to address the problem of stray dogs and those with owners. So far, very few municipalities have done this --”, Heta said, follows Telegrafi.
The director of the AUV Directorate of Health and Animal Management, Sadik Heta, says the Pristina municipality has been dealing with the issue of wandering dogs for several years.
