While speaking of the priorities of the United States,frey has said that it includes helping Serbia become a member of the European Union.
The American diplomat has said they are in intensive co-operation with Brussels, and that there is no change in the American position that “The EU must lead a prosperous and energy dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo to resolve political issues”.
According to him, the US believes it can play a vital role in improving economic reports and conditions in the Western Balkans, providing direct support to the region for EU integration.
Our involvement in the issue is not new and it is linked to the party's election campaign. We believe in the importance of regional stability. The priorities will not change even after the November elections of”, Godfrey has said.
Even Trump's minister for dialogue, Richard Green, in a conversation he has had with Serbs living in America, has said that after solving economic problems, President Trump will be involved in a political solution between Kosovo and Serbia.
