US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Costnett has said today he does not expect unrest in Kosovo as a result of the special court's recent actions.
Costett said the Special Court is an important and independent institution and should be allowed to do its job.
Asked whether he expects unrest as a result of the recent arrests, he replied: “Jo”.
Costett has declined to comment on recent arrests by the Special Court, adding that justice is important. The important thing is that the Court is allowed to do its job”, Costett said.
