Former US Secretary of State Madeline Albright has said that Kosovo is a test for democracy, but that with the greatest commitment of friends to the US Congress and the Albanian-American community can be helped in building peace and prosperity for all.
Madeline Albright has spoken at an online table discussing Kosovo's future, the table under the direction of US Foreign Affairs Committee Chief Chairman Eliot Engel. Albright has been critical of Trump administration for dealing with the problem.
The goal in 1998-1999 was to unite the world around democratic principles and in commitment to peace. The campaign led by Clinton was for successful results. Joe Beden mobilized the countries in NATO's campaign, members of Congress leading Eilliot Engel showed great commitment. Now is the time to restore our commitment as of next week after four years of failure and access to the Trump administration to Kosovo and Serbia. Kosovo remains a test country for democracy, but with a strong commitment of friends in Congress and the Albanian-American community can help build peace and prosperity for all.
