There are three larger agreements expected to be signed. The first is customs in Durres [for Kosovo], railway and hydropower lines for Kosovo that will be built in the Republic of Albania.
Both countries have signed several agreements over the years with each other, but have been characterised by non-compliance.
This is the list of agreements, memorandums, protocols and other documents approved by the government cabinet at today's meeting:
The additional protocol of the Health Co-operation Agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania's Ministry of Health and Social Protection, facing COVID-19;
The joint cultural calendar between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania;
Film co-production agreement between the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania;
Memorandum of co-operation between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania;
Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania for Co-operation and Intermediate Assistance in Cases of Natural Disasters and Other Disasters;
Co-operation Agreement between the Ministry of Labour and Social Management of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania's Ministry of Finance and Economy for Mobile at Work;
Memorandum of Co-operation between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania's Ministry of Sports and Youth for the Joint Digital Education Platform;
Protocols for Change and Enlargement in the Co-operation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania's Council of Ministers for Inter-operation in Security Field;
Memorandum Co-operation for the Creation of Digital Corridor 5G, and Relief of the Future Movement between the Ministry of Economy and Environment of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republika Albania Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy;
The Changing Protocol of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania for Avoiding Double Tax on Future Tax and Capital Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion;
Agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry for Europe and the Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania for the establishment of the Joint Fund in Support of Presevo Valley ;
Memorandum of Co-operation between the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania's Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy on Co-operation in the field of Iron Transport;
Memorandum of Co-operation between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of the Republic of Albania;
Agreements between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the implementation of intermediate facilities in customs procedures and/or in the control of the entry/dality of goods.
