Given the announcement of the prime minister's office, no solution has been offered to the issue, why, if the accounts are not opened within two days, about five thousand employees of these companies can remain without pay.
“Trepca has inherited unfavourable contracts that are causing financial damage. Therefore, the Ministry of Economy and Environment will co-operate with the Trepca Board and Management in preparing the business plan for overcoming the situation. Prime Minister Hoti, along with Minister Kuci, has today met with the Kosovo Telecom Union, which has also been blocked accounts, even though Kosovo Telecom has positively performed” in the last three months, the ZKMCE report said.
Otherwise, workers of these companies have also warned protests in case there is no solution to the issue.
