Since March 13th, when the first two positive cases were recorded with COVID-19, the number of people infected with this virus has gone to 17 thousand and 943.
From data from the Kosovo National Public Health Institute (IKSHPK), 15 thousand and 88 persons have managed to recover from this number. However, there are 663 others who have died because of the coronary infection.
Meanwhile, the number of cases active with COVID-19 is 2 thousand and 192.
“over the last 24 hours, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSCK and private labs with RT- The PCR, a total of 1,049 samples taken by the SSKKUK and tracking ground contact cases, out of which resulted 186 positive cases. Two cases of SARS deaths reported within 24 hours CoV-2 positive (MIQ, QKUK). The total number of positive cases is 17,943 cases of 87,147 suspicious persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 663 cases of death. During the last 24 hours, 54 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is a total of 15,088 cases, while the number of active cases is 2,192”, said IKSHPK's data.
And most of the positive cases are the Pristina municipality.
During the last 24 hours in the Pristina municipality of 72 people have proved positive with COVID-19. Next is Gjilan on 20 occasions, Fushe Kosova 17 cases, Gjakova on 15 occasions, Vushtri on 9 occasions, Skenderaj on 8 occasions, on 7 occasions Peja, while on 6 occasions are Ferizaj and Mitrovica. While, Lipjan 5 cases, the municipality of Obilic 4 cases, the Drinas 3 cases, the Prizren municipality 3 cases, the Decani municipality 2 cases, the Suhareka municipality 2 cases, and with one case of Istog municipalities, Kamenica, Kline, Malisheva, Podujevo, Rahovec and Shqi.
