“at this point, every delegation going to Iraq will be responsible to discuss the best way to reconfirm our strategic partnership, not discuss troop withdrawal”, the spokeswoman for American diplomacy Morgan Ortags confirmed in a communiqué.
Iraqi retired Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi had earlier asked American State Secretary Mike Pompeo to send a delegation to organise the withdrawal of American soldiers from Iraq.
“He had asked him to send representatives to Iran to place the necessary mechanisms for applying the Parliament's decision under the safe withdrawal of troops from Iraq”, according to a communique. / A T S/
