As a result of this attack, four Iraqis were injured, two of which security officers.
American defence officials show that American troops had left the base earlier and were restored to safer locations in Iraq.
It is still unknown who carried out this attack on American grounds.
We remember this is the second attack on the American base in Iraq following the murder of Iranian General Qasssem Solejmani.
