The terrible volcano explodes in the Philippines: Authorities Raise Alarm

A volcano in the vicinity of the Philippines capital, Manilas, has erupted into the sky, alarming authorities who have evacuated thousands of people, cancelling flights and saying that there will be more eruptions, as well as volcanic tsunamis. The Taal volcano, one of the most active in this country, is in the middle of a lake near Manila. As the quake shook the area during today, the volcano poured steam and ash, writes The Guardian, translates Periscope.

The Philippinas Institute of Volcanology and Seismology raises the alarm level to 4 out of 5 the maximum, meaning that “is a poisonous explosion that can occur within hours or days”.

The number of evacuees is known to have reached 8,000, with another 6 thousand still in the danger zone.

Ash fell even in Manila, causing flights to its international airport.

Local authorities have also stopped teaching in schools so that it could begin Monday and have urged people to stay inside their homes. /Periscope
