The Interior Ministry said that on January 23rd one person, in his 50s, has shot himself with a firearm in his mouth and died instead of the event, reports REL.
No more details have been provided.
The man killed himself on the stairs leading to the entrance of the parliament building.
This is the second suicide in the same country since 2002, when former Interior Minister Vlajko Stojiljkovic shot himself to death shortly after lawmakers passed a law allowing the extradition of suspects from The Hague's Tributal for War Crimes. He died two days later.
Stojiljevic was charged with crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
