Spahiu claims that the basic “reason why elections of all levels in democratic states take place in mostly four years, not about 2 or 3 years old is for the elected to have as much time as they can fulfill election promises and the state not spend money. ”
On the other hand, he believes that the reason why elections are not every 5, 6 or more years is that experts have estimated that the average collective attention for “election promises is lasting about 4 years and something”, Periscope follows.
Actually, Mr. Spahiu has offered no reference to his claims, while the reason for the election period is to avoid creating dictatorship or other forms of abusive exercise of power.
But, Spahiu has asked Albanian sociologists “to determine what collective memory is in Kosovo or Albania for election promises” alluding that it is shorter than four years in us.
Not even at this point, Mr. Spahiu does not offer any information on the matter while he has confused the sociologist's profession with that of the neurologer and psychiatrist involved.
