According to him, the LDK has a clear approach to the coalition, and all are interested in the deal.
“We have orientations on this issue and it's important. I know the LDK representatives spoke very little and spoke after the pressure increased, but I think they had to clarify some issues. Looks like it's kind of transparency, but it's not like that”
The LDK's subheading “is the representative in these negotiations. There's no obstacle. We have an attitude to negotiate to try to reach an agreement. But it must be remembered that if interests are protected they represent the Democratic League of Kosovo”.
Asked whether the LDK's position in negotiations with the VV has weakened as a result of the controversial positions within the LDK, Shala affirms such a thing by praising that the situation like these is passed.
I think yes, but they're overriding issues that are not essential. In a process like this where attitudes are not unique, this position certainly weakens”.
But, he does not believe the LDK will be divided as a result of opposing positions between the party's two vice-presidents Vjosa Osmani and Agim Veliut, faced the VV agreement.
No, because people can have any thoughts and attitudes, but when we decide we should all behave and protect those positions for party interest together. In the LDK, there is no debate on whether to make the coalition or not”.
