Former Kosovo Democratic Party President Adem Grabovci, former minister of innovation and entrepreneurship Besim Beqaj, former deputet The PDK, Zenun Pajaziti, and eight other indictees have been acquitted of criminal activity “violation of the equal status of citizens and residents of the Republic of Kosovo in co-ordination”.
Regarding this court decision, Adem Grabovci said in a proposal for Telegrafi has been awaiting such a decision.
He stressed that, to surprise, it has been the establishment of the indictment and the reopening of the investigations.
I didn't expect first that it would come to an indictment rise, because this was a process investigated by ELUEX and concluded with a decision that there was no evidence. What I personally have been concerned most about has been the judicial uncertainty that has been caused for all citizens of Kosovo, because the establishment of this indictment and the reopening of investigations after consulting a court process without having any evidence to reopen is absurd and is the first case”, Grabovci said.
Grabovci further added that reopening investigations against him and others has been a message that for the interests of a group or an individual could hit to degrade or even eliminate.
For me this public judgment was made, I'm sorry for all the friends who supported me through this whole process that was in vain, for which I was aware of this epilogue, it's not surprising, it's surprising that the reopening of the investigation was, and it's been a message that when someone tries to interest a group or an individual, it could hit anyone to degrad and eliminate someone”, Grabovci said.
He added that for those three years, he has refused to be promoted regarding the case, as he said “I wanted to leave the hands of justice free”.
For the three years that this case has been happening despite the pressure I've been having I refused to be promoted, even though I have known the right is on my side, but I've wanted to express confidence in the institutions of my country, I've been silent because I wanted to leave the hands of justice”, said Grabovci.
Adem Grabovci, Besim Beqaj, Zenun Pajaziri and others were charged that during October, November and December of 2011, November and the December of 2011, they had illegally appointed people close to leadership positions or with their party at public companies “Traincos”, “Infracos”, “dro-Drini<5>, <x>Randoniqi-Dukagoni”, etc.
