US reacts to Iran after British Ambassador's arrest

The United Kingdom ambassador to Iran was arrested during antigovernmental protests in Tehran, after officials there admitted that they accidentally shot the Ukrainian passenger plane. The United States has also reacted to this arrest. State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus has asked Iran to apologise to Great Britain.

We call on the regime to officially apologise to Great Britain for breaking rights and to respect the rights of all diplomats.”, she expressed herself.
