Pacolli: All Kosovars in Iraq are safe and sound

Kosovo Foreign Affairs Minister Behgjet Pacolli announced that so far all Kosovars working with American and foreign missions in Iraq are safe and sound.

Through a Facebook status, Pacolli said they are in close contact with authorities there in order to identify all Kosovars in Iraq.

Many Kosovo citizens work at US military and coalition bases in Iraq, including those that have been the target of last night's Iranian attacks. The work is continuing to identify all Kosovars, but the first information is that dozens of Kosovars work on these bases. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in close contact with authorities to ensure the security of Kosovars, and in all our capacities we will provide needed assistance.
