NATO has suspended training operations on the ground following tensions created by the US military top commander's assassination.
Germany will also withdraw some of its troops deployed in Iraq as part of the anti-I coalition The SIS, German Defence Ministry (Bundeswehr) declared, following the US assassination of Iranian Kurdish Forces Commander Qassim Solejman.
The 30 soldiers deployed in Baghdad and Taj will be transferred to Jordan and Kuwait”, the defence ministry's spokesman said, adding that withdrawal “will be immediate”.
After the assassination against Solejman, tensions have increased in Iran.
