Nagavci: The LDK seems to have prevented our proposal to dismiss Thaci

Far away in KTV's interactive statement that Vetevendosje's proposal was to dismiss current President Hashim Thaci, while adding that such a thing seems to have prevented the LDK.

Nagavci says the third point was “that if we fail to find an outside figure then the LDK should propose a candidate but that the VV's organs vote. The fourth point was that our commitment should be shared and that no vote by the former PAN party should be required for presidential vote”.

Their purpose was to find together a candidate representing the unity of the people.

She has now said that there is no reason to withdraw from the position of chief parliament.

The chairmanship meeting has been called because of urgency for some decisions, and until Monday we must decide how to keep going with participation in important bodies.

Nagavci says the decision on Kosovo's representation in international bodies will be made at the helm.

The movement has no reason nor a right to play games with the country's institutions. We have to be serious because that's why we voted. Each position will be accounting for citizens. Konjufca has been nominated by Kurti and voted by 75 deputies, it is an honor to be at the helm of the Parliament, and we strongly believe that he will handle the mayor's work more responsibility. I believe that we will soon have the first decisions that are based on full respect for Kosovo regulation”, he said.

Nagavci says Konjufca has accepted this task as a responsibility, adding that he would personally be willing to resign, but that this would not be a guarantee that the agreement with the LDK would be reached.

She says it was VV's proposal to propose an LDK candidate for speaker of the Parliament, but that the latter disagreed.
