Name Muhammad, the most popular of newborns in Oslo

According to the report published by Norway's Statistics Office, the name Muhamed has been recorded as the most used among male babies born in 2019 in Oslo, just as it has already been 11 years.

Meanwhile, throughout Norway, the most frequent name has been “Jacob”, while the following ranks “Lucas” and “Philim”.

Over 20 percent of the names in male babies are taken from the saints mentioned in the Bible.

The name Muhamed was the most popular in the Swedish city of Malmo in 2017 when the same name entered Britain and Wales's first ten, reports AA, broadcasts Kosovo.
