Legal Medicine Institute Director Education Gerjaliu, in an interview for Online Economy that several reunifications will take place in the coming days following recent findings.
The “during 2019 opened 27 locations in Kosovo and three control locations in Serbia. Out of 27 locations, it has resulted in 10 findings of troops being given to family members. About 18 reunifications of the parts that were later found to represent family heads” have occurred.
All the bodies identified have been sent to their families. We're working on cases that we've opened to location 27 in Zvecan in the northern part of Mitrovica. The same are working in legal and anthropological terms”.
“We have several reunifications that must occur over the following days. We must also deal with the share of 300 mortories that are in the monks and that are not related to wartime but to old times related to the time of Rankovic or the first world war. We're number 1648 even though we started later. But it depends on the region where it works”, Gerjaliu said.
Gerxhaliu added that the last political situation has stabilised the work of the Legal Medicine Institute.
Among other things, Gerjaliu says he lacks the budget for meetings outside Kosovo, as he says the institute needs to find other codes.
Since some of the tools that he did not use were burned by the government.
The political situation has stabilised the job at the moment that we do not take the way or meeting Serbia's dialogue group without consulting our institutions. The Law Medicine Institute has a budget of a contractor who does field work, but it only has inside Kosovo. As for trips to Serbia, I have to find other codes because the Institute does not have a separate budget for the travel of doctors and staff outside Kosovo”.
“This chronic problem is present because within our dictatorships it is said that workers cannot pay another dictatorship, even though a large amount of tools that are not exploited within the year are burned on the government commission, said Gerjaliu.
Gerjaliu says confronting the Serbian side is not easy, reports EO.
“I'm part of the task force since the war, we know it's not easy to confront the Serbian side. When you sit on the dialogue table we share the cards on the table”
“They have their demands, the same is monitored by internationals. There is no progressive movement with which results will be”, he added.
He has indicated that in Rudinica in Kizevac, Serbia, he has been misdiagnosed. According to him, from information received from witnesses, it has been noted that the work was performed in the wrong place.
