Group for Jury and Political Studies platform “Justice Today” holds a media conference on “Challenges to rule the law in Kosovo: Performance of the justice and prosecutorial system and citizens' assessment of these” institutions.
At this conference, they will be unveiled, found by the fifth edition of the Index of Performance of Law Rule Institutions in Kosovo.
This report presents the performance trend and efficiency of the work of the judicial and prosecutorial system, and the degree of citizens' satisfaction towards these institutions, reflecting their opinion on topics such as political influence, bribery, reporting corruption, independence in decision-making and continued EULEX mandate.
The index also handles data on the work of the prosecution and judiciary for the period 2013-2019, through assessing performance, burden, efficiency and budget that is shared over the years for these two maintenance institutions of a rule of law security in Kosovo.
The Kosovo Law Rule Institutions Index is the monitoring mechanism designed to assess the work of institutions with particular focus on the justice system.
Over the years, it has provided data on citizens' perceptions of these institutions as well as structural data on the work of the judicial and prosecutorial system.
