The Kosovo Health Ministry is carefully conveying developments in the world regarding viral pneunomiia coronavirus.
In this regard, incumbent Health Minister Uran Ismaili has today called the leaders of the relevant health institutions in Kosovo to the meeting.
During this meeting, Ismaili has requested information from those present about the coronavirus situation, as well as asked all state and institutional mechanisms to be on hand in case of any suspicious cases.
IKSHPK Executive Director Naser Ramadani has confirmed that there is no case with coronavirus in Kosovo and that the risk for this virus in our country is low.
SHSKUK Director Basri Sejdiu confirmed that as an institution ready to manage evovatual sands and convey the epidemiological situation.
The director of the Infectious Clinic, Lindira Ajazaj-Berisha, has said she has already made the necessary preparations regarding the isolation department in case of presenting any case that will need isolation measures.
During this week, Minister Ismaili will also invite the Nacipnal Committee on infectious diseases to discuss the situation and level of readiness.
Health institutions in Kosovo assure all citizens that they are taking all adequate measures, according to World Health Organisation recommendations.
