Iran's supreme leader, Ayatallah Ali Khamenei, will lead the forgiveness of the jungle in the Teheren for the first time in eight years today.
Such an action comes at a time when Iran is involved in anti-government protests, due to the collapse of a Ukrainian plane by the Iranian Army last week.
Iran's leadership is also under pressure for severe economic downturn, due to US sanctions.
On Wednesday, Iranian President Hassan Rohan called for national unity.
But he also called on the military to render full account of the way the plane crashed.
Ukraine's plane has been travelling from Tehran to Kiev and has crashed shortly after its departure on January 8th.
All 176 passengers aboard have lost their lives.
Iranian athletes have initially denied responsibility, but after increasing international pressure they have accepted it.
Hours before the plane crash, the Iranian Army attacked US bases in Iraq in retaliation for killing a commander in a US attack on January 3rd.
