Three Britons and 73 Canadians were among the 176 people who found death on a Ukrainian passenger plane that crashed near Tehran in the early hours of the morning.
According to foreign media, Telegrafi traces, the Boeing 737 plane crashed just three minutes after the establishment of Imam Khomenin International Airport, just hours after Iran launched a rocket attack on US bases in Iraq.

Citing sources, Ukraine's medium Obozrevatel reported that there were 73 Canadians, 71 Iranians, 15 Ukrainians, three Britons and several other Europeans aboard the flight to Kyiv.
There were conflicting reports on numbers, and it is believed that a number of travelers may have had dual citizenship.
As reported earlier, there were no survivors.
Just hours before the plane crashed, the US Federal Aviation Administration had stopped American airlines from flying over Iran, Iraq and the waters of the Persian Gulf due to the Middle East crisis.
However, the Ukraine Embassy in Tehran reported that the crash was caused by a engine failure, not terrorism.
Iranian officials said the pilot had lost control of the Boeing aircraft after a fire hit one of the aircraft engines, but said the crew had not reported an emergency and what caused the fire.
