A Facebook spokesman confirmed the news about CNN Business the same day US President Donald Trump announced new sanctions against Iran after this country attacked US bases in Iraq.
The Iranian attack came after the US killed General Qasssem Solejmani on 3 January. Trump said Soliman was planning attacks at several American embassies.
The Institute is one of the few social networks available to Iranian citizens, as Twitter and Facebook are blocked by the government. The decision to block the positive posts for Soleiman has also brought the response of Iranian officials.
The Iranian government's spokesman, Ali Rabei, viewed the move as <x0 undemocratic>”. The irony is that his reaction, the spokesman, did it on Twitter. / A2 CNN
