Hong Kong Mayor Carrie Lam said her government will declare emergency situations and close elementary and high schools for two weeks on the eve of the Chinese New Year's holiday. Schools will open February 17th.
Besides closing schools, trains and flights to the town of Wuhan will be interrupted. These measures are being taken because of fears of the spread of the virus during the most popular holiday in China.
The virus has already spread to several provinces in China, but in other countries, including Thailand, Japan, and the United States.
Among the symptoms of this virus are respiratory problems, fever and coughing, writes “BBC”, Report Express.
