The incumbent Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has met with the director for Southeast Europe, Turkey and European Association for Free Trade member states at the German Foreign Ministry, Susanne Schutz, where he reiterated that Kosovo has met the conditions for visa liberalisation. Haradinaj said that Kosovo and Germany have succeeded in deepening bilateral co-operation in the political and economic field, as a major strategic achievement for the country and the region. He stressed that Kosovo is focused on advancing partnership with the German state, as we have worked hard on life-building economic projects like the ITP in Prizren and Soui Kosova, and likewise on political terms, thanking this country for its consistent stance in protecting the country's territorial integrity.
He also expressed readiness of the country's institutions for continuing dialogue, which leads to final agreements with mutual recognition on existing borders and in good partnership with all countries in the region. “Kosovo has managed to create powerful allies, and Germany's support is extremely necessary to continue the country's integration into the large European family and enable free movement for the citizens of Kosovo, the conditions for which the country has actually met”, Haradinaj said.
Already, for the last time in his rule, Haradinaj speaks optimisticly and promises visa liberalisation, yet that has not happened even the year we left behind.
