Two Family Violence Suspects Arrested

Kosovo Police spokesman for the Mitrovica region, Avni Zahiti, has stressed that based on the victim's statement, it becomes known to him that the two suspects -- members of the same family -- had been practicing violence, with what cases the victim has sought medical treatment.

Police investigators within the Skenderaj Police Station have undergone investigative action, in which raiding the house of suspects resulting from finding and sequenting a pistol type weapon for which the suspect had no permission was carried out. From the ongoing investigation, it is known that the incident between family members precedes a property dispute. While after necessary interviewing procedures, the two suspects have been released in regular procedure”, Zahit says.
