The European Commission has made 10 million available for scientific research on the recent coronary epidemic.
“We are working to ease the possible consequences of a wide explosion of coronary into the European Union”, European Commissioner for Research Maria Gabriel said.
The commission has launched an urgent tender procedure for the introduction of funds from its research and innovation programme.
The money is expected to support two to four research projects, which will start working as soon as possible.
