The chairman of the Kosovo Economic Ode (OEK), Berat Rukiqi, has talked about the consequences of delaying the establishment of institutions.
Rukiqi, at “Dosier D” in RTV Dukaagjini, has said that the damage to the delay in institution creation or going to new elections harms the country's economy in various respects.
“has also been a long pre-election campaign and add to the part where Government has been in resignation and if taken in total is almost half a year and if seen in the context of the time significance of the economy and businesses is very long”.
The OEK chairman has said that these delays also have an impact on attracting foreign investment.
He has said that Kosovo's economic growth comes mainly from diaspora remittances, but adds that this is not enough.
The chairman of the Kosovo Economic Ode has said it is disturbing that a large number of companies have empty seats that are unable to find qualified workers at a time when unemployment is too high.
Rukiqi has said the first priority of any government to come will be the budget, but according to him it is already too late.
He has said that quick budget sharing may not meet citizens' priorities.
The OEK chairman has said the judicial security the state must guarantee for businesses is very vital for attracting foreign investment.
We've had situations when it couldn't guarantee contract implementation. We have had situations when judicial decisions and many other cases -- 18x1> -- were not implemented, Berat Rukiqi said, among other things.
