Today the decision is expected for the case “People's Office”

Today, the final decision is expected to be made in the case known as “The People's Office”, where the country's president, Hashim Thaci and former head of the Kosovo Assembly, Kadri Wessel, had also testified. In this case, Avni Llumnica, Ragip Salova, Sadri Ramabaja, Behxhet Luzha, Halim Halimi, Bajrush Konjusha, Murat Jashari and Rexhep Toplana are accused of criminal acts of preparing terrorist or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo.
Last week, the accused gave their final word. Sadri Ramabaja named the process as politically mounted, while the prosecutor himself was influenced. He stated that the whole process was initiated by the “Proto” clan.
Prosecutor Silas Hoxha in his final address has demanded that the accused be found guilty.
Last week, Kosovo's Special Prosecutor-in-law resigned from prosecution for Lyza and Sabit Berisha, whose case was suspected.
